Miami Fashion Week was a series of nonstop events. We started with the opening night showcase featuring designers such as Eduardo de las Casas and Nicolas Felizola. We went backstage and met Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza. This is the first time Jeile Marie gets front row seats at a fashion show. She sat next to some judges, sneaked a peek at the scores they were giving the DASH collection. DASH is Design & Architect Senior High School. It was a collection put together by students with ECO sustainable fabrics. What we didn't include in this video was the red carpet scene. As Jeile Marie tried to do her intro on the red carpet, people kept walking up to her asking what she was filming for. Very cool to see people interested & curious by her presence. BarCamp Miami 2009. Since goLIVEmiami.com is an internet startup, we are trying to learn as much as possible about how to grow our site. Luckily, South Miami is growing as a tech center as demonstrated by last Monday's BarCamp Miami in Coconut Grove where over 700 people signed up to attend BarCamp Miami 2009.
Jeile and Richard were there to learn and document the whole thing as you can see in this video. It's only an overview of the event, but we interviewed a lot of the 'superstars'. As an added bonus we were privileged to participate in the all volunteer fashion show at the Standard Hotel to raise money for K.I.D.S., Kids In Distressed Situations. All the money raised from this night goes to help local kids in distress. We also get to know American Idol finalist Christina Christian and top Ford model Claudia D'Avila. I'm sure lucky that Jeile Marie has a lot of cool friends. And, special thanks to Robynn Lin Fredericks from Catwalk Couture.

Last night at the MIFF Miami International Film Festival after party for the screening of the film 'Chelsea on the Rocks', we were partying with the director, Abel Ferrara, an Italian-American director and screenwriter whose provocative works, have earned national and international acclaim. This year the French publication Cahiers du Cinema dubbed Ferrara "the greatest living American filmmaker."
So, we also made friends with 21 year old (maybe) Marsha who was in his entourage. She was having a lot of fun with the flashing ice cubes. goLIVEmiami.com

First we stop at the annual opening and party at the Bass Museum of Art on Miami Beach and become part of the art. Then, we walk across the street to the beach where we run into some old friends at the shipping container 'hang out' area and listen to some French rock group and get some tips on the best nights to go out in Miami. Next we go over to Miami's Wynwood art area to the Gen Art mega-party were we talk to Venus Williams. Finally, it's back to the Beach where we 'crash' the Ultra party on exclusive star studded Star Island. It's Thomas Kramer's estate where we find out the latest from CBS Big Brother 6's Beau Beasley. In the spirit of Art Basel Miami Beach 2008, which has just ended and where I've spent most of my time shooting interviews with our Host Jeile Marie for our Webisodes (check 'em out), I've added something from Basel last year.

In the summer of 2007, I answered an ad for volunteers to pose nude at a hotel on South Beach in Miami for one of Spencer Tunick's infamous group nude photo series. With much apprehension, I did it. This is a short documentary about my experience and what I saw.
This is also the Exclusive World Premier of my documentary as it has never been shown anywhere else.
