:FASHION Webisode Miss Universe Miami Fashion Week 2009

Miami Fashion Week was a series of nonstop events. We started with the opening night showcase featuring designers such as Eduardo de las Casas and Nicolas Felizola. We went backstage and met Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza. This is the first time Jeile Marie gets front row seats at a fashion show. She sat next to some judges, sneaked a peek at the scores they were giving the DASH collection. DASH is Design & Architect Senior High School. It was a collection put together by students with ECO sustainable fabrics. What we didn't include in this video was the red carpet scene. As Jeile Marie tried to do her intro on the red carpet, people kept walking up to her asking what she was filming for. Very cool to see people interested & curious by her presence. BarCamp Miami 2009. Since goLIVEmiami.com is an internet startup, we are trying to learn as much as possible about how to grow our site. Luckily, South Miami is growing as a tech center as demonstrated by last Monday's BarCamp Miami in Coconut Grove where over 700 people signed up to attend BarCamp Miami 2009.
Jeile and Richard were there to learn and document the whole thing as you can see in this video. It's only an overview of the event, but we interviewed a lot of the 'superstars'.
